A Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) is a prospect who has shown a higher level of interest in your product or service than other leads, indicating they are more likely to become a customer. MQLs are identified based on specific criteria or behaviors, such as engaging with marketing content, downloading resources, or submitting forms.

An MQL is more developed than a basic lead but hasn’t yet been fully vetted or engaged by the sales team. They are considered ready for further nurturing and are often passed on to the sales team for direct outreach, with a higher likelihood of conversion due to their demonstrated interest and engagement.

Whenever a campaign is sent out to a list of contacts designated as a "Leads" list, GlassHive will track recipient opens/clicks to segment those showing interest in your content versus those not.

Whenever the recipient of a campaign opens and clicks on the campaign, they generate a Lead Score of 1 for every individual click, which accrues over time with each campaign sent. You may also have some leads that go as far as to submit a form through GlassHive these leads automatically generate a lead score of 5 as forms have a higher weighted value.

  • To access your Qualified Leads select the Marketing Tab, then select "Qualified Leads".

  • You will then see a contact table specific to Qualified Leads where you can sort and filter to show the hottest leads or leads with the highest lead score.

  • Once these leads are located it's always a good idea to assign them to a sales rep so they can begin getting notified of further activity and follow up on the lead.
