How to create Accounts

Designating companies as Accounts allows users to segment active accounts/customers into a specific view within GlassHive. This plays a crucial role in managing and tracking client relationships and provides key functions for businesses that want to efficiently organize their sales, marketing, and customer data.

Designating companies as accounts via CSV upload

  • When uploading a list of contacts/companies into GlassHive the user has the ability to designate if they are active accounts.

  • To learn how to upload a list, follow the provided link below:

  • As the user is mapping the list fields into GlassHive they will have the ability to map the field "Account". Upon upload of this list, it will automatically upload and designate the company as an account.

Designating companies as accounts via company table

Begin by selecting the contact category from the nav bar then selecting "Companies". This will show the company's table.

  • On the company table select the company by clicking the selector box next to the company name. Then select "More Actions" > "Mark Account" > "Mark as Account".

  • Once the account has been designated as an account it will appear under the "Accounts" category.
