How do Companies in ConnectWise sync into GlassHive?

How do Companies sync over from ConnectWise

Companies will sync into GlassHive based on the "Company Types" selected during the ConnectWise Integration Setting. As noted in that linked article, records will sync based on how their dependencies sync. For example, if the assigned user/member on a company record in ConnectWise does not exist in GlassHive, the Company record will not sync.

Contact lists will be created based on the Company Types selected. Lists only get created if contacts exist, that is why it is important that you also map "ConnectWise Contact Statues / GlassHive Contact Types".

If either the company record or attached contact record in ConnectWise do not have types, this may cause problems with the sync.

Once a company syncs from ConnectWise into GlassHive, you should see the ConnectWise icon under the Company Profile as shown. If you click this icon it will take you to the record it is tied to in ConnectWise.

Please note, the ConnectWise ID shown is the Rec ID, not the Company ID.

The following items will sync into GlassHive :

  • Contact Info - Company Address, Website, Email Address, Phone Number and Number of Employees

  • Social Media - LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter (Click on social media icon in order to view accounts)

  • Company type

  • Company ID ( Hoover over icon in order to view Company ID , Click on Icon to view company in ConnectWise)
