Video content can boost engagement and make your emails more effective. Sending videos through email can significantly enhance the recipient's experience, but there are different ways to do it depending on your goals and the type of email you're sending. Here’s a breakdown of the options:
1. One-to-One and Non-Graphical Emails
For one-to-one communication or non-graphical emails, you have several options for sharing videos:
Hyperlink an image: You can include a static image and hyperlink it to the video location.
insert an image in the email > click on the image > insert link > insert.
Hyperlink text: Simply add a clickable text link that directs recipients to the video by highlighting the text > click on insert link > insert.
Upload a video file: You can upload the file directly into GlassHive and attach it to the marketing collateral.
In the email, click on Marketing Collateral > choose a video > select how you would like your file to be uploaded > Add.
2. Graphical Emails
Embed a YouTube video: You can drag and drop the YouTube video icon directly into the email. However, note that if you embed a YouTube Short or a GIF, it will not render a cover image, which might impact the email's visual appeal.
Click and drag on the video icon > enter the video URL.
