Registering deals with vendors is crucial for securing exclusive pricing, additional support, and priority resource access. It helps protect your opportunities by preventing competitors from claiming the same deal. It ensures you receive the full benefits the vendor offers, such as rebates, incentives, or marketing assistance. Deal registration also strengthens your partnership with vendors, showing commitment and aligning efforts for mutual success. By formally registering deals, you can maximize profitability and streamline sales.

*NOTE* When registering opportunities with a Vendor, register the value of the solutions(s) from the Vendor.

  • To register a deal with a Vendor, you first need to create an opportunity.

  • Once the opportunity has been opened and all fields are filled out, you can begin registering the deal with the Vendor.

  • Select "Add Registered Deal." This will cause the registered deal editor to pop out.

  • From here, you can name the opportunity, select the Vendor you are registering the deal with, if the opportunity is tied to any MDF, the registration number, projected close date, and the description.

  • You will then be prompted to add the value of the solutions, as well as the individual solutions that are incorporated in the opportunity that is being registered.

*NOTE* When registering opportunities with a Vendor, register the value of the solution(s) from the Vendor.

  • Once all details have been entered, select "Save," and the deal will then be registered with the Vendor.

  • When a deal is registered with a Vendor they are notified of the new deal to potentially provide MDF, marketing or sales assistance.
