Campaigns for Restricted Salespeople

What restricted salespeople can see, create, and send in email campaigns.

Written by Tyler Cofield

If your salesperson access is limited to contacts assigned to you, campaigns follow that same limit. You can see company campaigns and personal campaigns that belong to you. You cannot see personal campaigns that belong to another salesperson.

Creating a campaign

  • Go to Marketing > Email Marketing > Campaigns.

  • Click Create Campaign.

GlassHive makes the campaign a personal campaign that belongs to you. You will not see the choice between Company Email Campaign and Personal Email Campaign, and you cannot assign the campaign to someone else.

An Admin or Marketer can create a company campaign when the email needs to reach contacts across the company. You can learn more about that choice via the button below.

Choosing lists

You can still pick a list. The campaign only sends to contacts on that list who are assigned to you.

  • List counts show only your assigned contacts.

  • Lists with no contacts assigned to you are hidden.

  • GlassHive shows this notice: Only contacts assigned to you will receive this campaign email.

For example, a list of 100 contacts can send to the 18 assigned to you. It will not send to the other 82.

If a contact is missing

  • Check that the contact is on the list you selected.

  • Check that the contact is assigned to you.

  • Ask an Admin to update the assignment if it is wrong.

  • Open the campaign again and confirm the recipient count before you send.
