Marketing Development Funds (MDF) - Vendor

Written by Christian Martin

Marketing development funds are a resource that a Vendor grants to its channel partners to help the channel with sales and marketing programs. The fund may be monetary or content-based. Marketers within channel partner companies use market development funds to support a range of initiatives.

To request MDF funds a partner must be associated with your Vendor account.

  • Before a Vendor can setup their MDF budget and provide partners with it, they need to setup users with permissions within the Vendor portal to review/process any incoming requests.

  • To setup your user permission go to "Account" > "Account Settings" > "Users"

  • From here hover over the designated user and select the grey dropdown arrow and select "Edit"

  • A popout of the user's profile/permission will appear, scroll to the bottom of the popup to see the permissions the user has.

  • A Vendor account will need a user with all of the following permissions or multiple users across the account with specific MDF permissions.
