High-Level Steps
When starting your GlassHive Journey, we must accomplish a few steps to ensure success.
1. Creating your vendor account
2. Choosing content and adding it to your library
3. Choosing the right partners
4. Setting up your partners
5. Executing partner campaigns
6. Ongoing partner support
This is a simple and high-level understanding of the process. All activities go to completing each of these main items; however, if you're interested in a more visual representation of the process, please click here to download the flowchart.
Creating Your Vendor Account
Creating a vendor account is as simple as asking your GlassHive Account Manager. They will create your account and send login invitations to those partners you have informed us who should have access to.
A common question asked is: “How do I add more users to my account?” Click here to learn: Add or Invite a new Partner - Vendor Account
We would also recommend setting up a weekly 15-30 minute meeting for the first 30-60 days to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Choosing Content
The first step is to choose the right kind of content you should include and provide to your partners. Let's go through a few considerations and how they can affect the content you select for your program.
Funnel Strategy
We recommend working with awareness, consideration, and decision content strategy that leads the prospect through a journey covering all three. You can divide these steps evenly across your program's time frame. For example, a 3-month campaign can focus on month 1 being awareness, month 2 being a consideration, and month 3 being decision.
Awareness, Consideration, and Decision?
Awareness: is about introducing your prospects to the solutions and or services. However, instead of simply offering your solution and its benefits, we recommend leveraging education to help prospects better understand the environment that creates the problem your service is trying to solve and potentially DIY or process solutions to those problems. Your goal should be to provide valuable and helpful content that positions your prospect as a subject expert and creates trust.
Consideration: is all about providing prospects with the information they need to consider your services/solutions. This includes information about how it works, how it compares to other solutions/services, and technical details if required. This is great for testimonials and case studies.
Decision: is the stage of the journey where prospects would have been made aware of the solution and educated on the details and comparable's of the solutions. The last stage is about making the case to take the final step of buying or taking that meeting. This is an excellent time to offer specials, free consultations, etc.
What kind of assets do I need?
We recommend each month includes the following:
1 landing page
2 designed emails
2 plain text emails, we refer to these as Personal Marketing Emails (PMPs)
1 content asset (whitepaper, eBook, video, etc.)
Can I customize it?
Yes, the campaign structure is flexible. For example, you can have each month lead to a webinar, making that webinar one of the “content assets.” You can also opt to have 2 “content assets” each month and have only one landing page we direct to all three months. If you have any questions on how we can customize, please ask your Account Manager, and we can help you structure the campaign that fits your approach.
Target Audience
Lastly, consider the target audience. This has a lot to do with the partner selection process, but you will want to match the content you have selected with the partner's viable prospect targets. If most or all of your partners are geared to working with 10-25 employee-sized companies, we want to make sure the content speaks to those targets. This is also true for specific verticals.
Inviting Your Partner
Partner invitations are done by sending your partner an invitation by selecting the "Partner" tab in your vendor account, then clicking on "Invite Partner" and adding their email. This will send that partner an email that allows them to create an account. Once they complete their history, they will automatically be linked to you as your partner, allowing them to participate in your program.
If the partner in question is already a GlassHive user, please select your “Partner's” tab, then “Invite Partner,” and fill in the “GlassHive company ID.” The partner should provide that and it is located in their account settings under “Admin” and located at the top right-hand corner of the page.
We have a few recommendations on how an account should be set up once it's created to ensure auto branding functions correctly and for your partner to maximize their results. The partner can do this completely, but you or a GlassHive product coach (white-glove service option) can also walk them through the setup.
Partner Account Set up
Once you have invited your partner, let's talk about setting them up for success in GlassHive. These are steps the partner can take on their own. GlassHive is built for partners to use the tool in their everyday business; however, you can always walk them through these steps to ensure adoption and maximized results. GlassHive has a wide variety of integrations stretching from PSA (ConnectWise) to Microsoft 365 integrations for easy use and automation. In this guide, we will focus on universal integrations. Please reach out to GlassHive support if you have questions about our full integrations list.
Minimum Recommended Integrations
DKIM:
The Domain Key Identified Mail (DKIM) functionality provides an email authentication method to help ensure that a message is not modified while it is in transit, and the receiver will still know that the email is coming from you. Watch the following video on how the DKIM Integration works and setup: Setting Up Your DKIM
Microsoft 365 Integration:
HOW IT WORKS:
Microsoft 365 integration automatically adds Email Activity as Users with a Sales Role to send messages to Contacts. This is done by directly linking your Outlook account through GlassHive.
Watch the following video on how the integration works and setup: Microsoft 365 Integration
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take for emails to appear in GlassHive?
Our email processor runs every minute per 100 emails per client. Whenever it exceeds that amount of emails, it will take longer for the emails to appear in GlassHive. If you still do not see emails syncing into GlassHive after 24 hours, please reach out through our live chat or at support@glasshive.com.
Why am I getting these "Undeliverable" emails?
These emails are typically due to SPF validation failing from 3rd party emails (marketing emails from Twitter as an example) for more technical information. There is no way to prevent this from occurring.
Magic Branding:
For your partners' campaigns to be auto-branded with their company logo and color scheme, you need to set up the custom colors in your partners' account settings.
⚠️ Applying any changes after the initial setup will update anything that uses these branding options. This can include any emails that you may have scheduled.
⚠️ Only use 6-digit hex codes for colors instead of 3-digit hex codes. e.g. 3 digits - #000 is black, but 6 digits - #000000 is also black. Also, do not use the RGB format. For instance, instead of RGB(255,0,0) use #F00F00
Magic Branding allows GlassHive to brand thousands of marketing and sales assets to your brand in under a minute by setting up your Magic Branding. Our Magic Branding API will pull company colors, logo, fonts, button styles and more automatically for the user. Watch the following to learn how to leverage: Setting up Magic Branding
How to Set Up a List & Upload Contacts:
1. Select "Lists" from the Contact tab
2. Click on "Upload List" if you would like to upload contacts to a new list.

4. Format your information based on the downloaded sample Excel file. Click on Download Sample
5. Click on "Choose File."
6. The left column are fields in your file, and the right column are fields that exists in GlassHive. Go down the list to map the First name with the First Name, etc. Once you match all the rows, select "Finish."
That's it! Keep in mind that the larger your file is, the longer it will take to scrub.
The following will link you to learn more about: Lists
Is there a format that List files have to follow?
